West Virginia Soccer’s Travel Program fees cover your player’s full seasonal year, with no hidden or surprise charges for off season or additional programs. Fees for professionally coached teams include seasonal training, off-season training, and tournament coaching expenses. Our goal is full transparency from the start.

Club Fees & Team Fees
Travel fees are divided into two parts: Club Fees and Team Fees. Total costs vary by age group and level of play. Each player’s financial commitment covers the entire seasonal year (June–May).

Club Fees
Club Fees support the all inclusive fees listed below inlcuding but not limited to coaching staff, facilities and administrative operations of the team.

Team Fees
Each team manages a PlayMetrics account and collects expenses directly from families to cover team-based items such as additional tournament registration fees, coach travel for events over 150 miles, and extra training programs not included in Club fees. At the start of the seasonal year, families receive a detailed team budget and payment schedule from the Team Treasurer to help with planning. Team fees vary by age group and competitive level. It is the team’s responsibility to develop a proposed budget, which must be reviewed and approved by the Club to ensure it is reasonable and complements the existing Club programming.

Supplemental Program Fees:
In addition to the programs and services included in Club fees, players may choose to participate in optional supplemental programs—such as off-season training—offered by the club on a per-player basis. These programs are not team events and carry an additional cost.

Need-Based Financial Aid
West Virginia Soccer is committed to making high-level soccer accessible to all families. We offer a need-based financial aid program to assist with Club fees for qualifying players. Families must complete an application and provide required documentation during the registration process.
