Charles Town, WV (April 25th, 2025) – WV Soccer Academy is proud to announce that Geoff Moore has joined its coaching staff, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to developing young athletes. In addition to his role at the academy, Moore is also the head coach for the Hood College men’s soccer program.
Moore’s dual appointment represents a unique opportunity for collaboration between youth and collegiate soccer, offering WV Soccer Academy players direct insight into the standards and expectations of NCAA-level play. With over a decade of coaching experience, Moore is known for his tactical understanding, emphasis on player development, and ability to inspire both teams and individuals.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Geoff to the WV Soccer Academy family,” said the Director Brandon Ricker. “His experience and leadership will be a huge asset to our players and staff.”
At Hood College, Moore is set to lead the Blazers into a new chapter, bringing a player-focused coaching philosophy and a history of building competitive, cohesive teams.
With Moore’s passion and proven track record, both WV Soccer Academy and Hood College are poised for success in the seasons to come.
